Drop-in visits are a good option for pets who can stay home for most of the day alone but need some basic care. We provide services in your home based on your pet's normal routine and individual needs.
We recommend drop-in care for pets who don't require overnight supervision and do well with 1–3 scheduled check-ins throughout the day. Multiple visits can be arranged based on your pet's routine, location, and availability.
Drop-ins are available for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, and other small pets, depending on their care needs.
Each visit is 30 minutes and can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box care, playtime, medication when applicable, and other routine care your pet needs.
For dogs, visits can include time outside for a potty break and playtime. Drop-in visits are not intended to replace a full dog walk when extended exercise is needed.
For cats and other pets, we'll follow the feeding, cleaning, handling, and care instructions discussed during the meet & greet.
Multiple visits per day can be scheduled depending on your pet's needs, location, and availability.
We'll follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible and make sure food, water, and pet areas are kept clean during each visit.
For clients who are traveling, basic home tasks such as bringing in mail or packages, adjusting lights, and watering a small number of plants can also be handled during the scheduled visit when requested.
For liability and safety reasons, we prefer that no other individuals (family, friends, neighbors, contractors) are present in the home during scheduled drop-in visits. This helps prevent confusion regarding home access, pet care responsibilities, and minimizes potential liability issues.
We understand that some clients may be home during services and still need pet care assistance due to mobility limitations, disability, recovery from an injury or procedure, or other circumstances. These situations can absolutely be accommodated and should be discussed with us in advance.
All animals residing in the home must be disclosed during the intake and booking process, even if care is not being requested for them. Any pet requiring any type of handling or care must be included in the booking.
New clients complete our pet care intake form so we can learn about your pet's routine, behavior, medications, home access, and care needs. We'll also ask for veterinarian and emergency contact information, along with a signed liability waiver.
We schedule a free meet & greet before the first visit. This gives us a chance to meet your pet, review their routine, locate food and supplies, go over entry instructions, and discuss anything else we should know before care begins.
Dogs and cats must be current on age-appropriate vaccinations, and all pets must be free of fleas and other contagious parasites.
